Flow.

Walking in Memphis @ sunset

Oceans, rivers, lakes, and streams are so fascinating to me. Why? They flow, regardless of what life throws its way, the progression never stops. It gets calm one minute and it rages the next. Storms stir the waters, but it never loses its mission. When it falls, it still has somewhere to go. At night, it’s true elegance radiates like a lovers sweet presence. It flows, it grows, it glows, and glistens. Sometimes it roars, sometimes it whispers. There’s a natural mystique to the world’s expansive rivers, mighty oceans, serene lakes and soothing streams, they reflect the world around it with no judgement. The flowing waters of the universe are a metaphor for life itself. If you pause long enough and stare into the water you’ll see a reflection of life, your life staring right back at you.
